Andre Herbert
- Andre has been transplanted from the Bronx, NY, for nearly a decade. A 2002 graduate of Belmont Abbey, Andre works in Real-Estate Investment during the day. Having a father with a black belt in Judo, it was only natural for Andre to pursue training in the martial arts. Through the years of training, Andre has shifted from traditional martial arts to Self-Protection based applications. Andre`s credentials include:

- Kempo Black Belt
- In addition, Andre has studied Balintawak Arnis, Bas Rutten Mixed Martial Arts System, Boxing, and others.
Tuan Hoang
Tuan’s family emigrated to the U.S. when he was 5 years old. He started martial arts at the age of 11 with Tae Kwon Do. He achieved his 2nd Degree black belt while attending college. He later served 6 years in the U.S. Navy in the area of satellite communications and cryptology. While stationed in San Diego and East Asia he was introduced to Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai.
Tuan has been with RHEK since it’s inception. He is a certified Krav Maga Instructor and also holds certification for KM Fitness through Krav Maga Worldwide. He currently trains in submission fighting, BJJ and Thai boxing.
Tuan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelors degree in Economics and currently works for Verizon Wireless as a Network Engineer.

Fred Jennings
Fred grew up in Toledo, OH. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1995. While working in technical fields with the Marines, Fred also trained in combat both with weapons and hand to hand. After two successful enlistments, during most of which he was based in Jacksonville, NC, Fred transitioned to civilian life. He spent five years working as a Technical Trainer, training military personnel in setting up tactical data and voice communication networks. Fred traveled extensively in this time, including stints in Kuwait, Iraq, Japan, and military bases all throughout the US. Fred recently took a job as a Network Technician in the Charlotte area to get away from the constant travel and to be able to spend more time with his daughter and to train more consistently.
Fred is a Certified Krav Maga Instructor. He also trains for competition in MMA, BJJ, boxing, Muay Thai, and submission wrestling. He has competed successfully at an amateur level in these sports. His experience in training military personnel forged an aptitude for finding creative ways to reach all students in the way that makes sense to that individual.

Glenn Gordon
A few distinctive achievements include a Black belt in Krav Maga, of which only 80 have achieved this in the past 25 yrs. He also has a first degree Black Belt in Kenpo, and is a Tactical Master Instructor in CDT (Personal Protection).
Additional interesting accomplishments include his expertise in coordinating the choreography for a fight scene in the movie “Blood Diamond” with Leonardo Di Caprio, and for the TV show “Gilmore Girls”. He also attended Olympic Camp for Hockey in Colorado Springs in 1989 and 1990.
Glenn majored in Management and minored in Spanish at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He is also a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Sales Advantage Course and a member of the NSCA.
Eric Seitlin
Eric Seitlin grew up in Charlotte and graduated in 2000 from UNC-Chapel Hill. While in dental school in Baltimore, he studied Ed Parker`s American Kenpo. He returned to Charlotte in 2004 and spent time practicing Northern Shaolin Kung Fu. In 2005, he began training in Krav Maga at RHEK. Besides being a certified Level One Krav Maga Instructor, Eric has run three marathons.
